FAQ’S

  • My turnaround time for any photoshoot is 3 weeks but I also provide previews of the images within 48 hours of our shoot.

  • I deliver the edited images via an online gallery platform called Pixieset! This is a super easy and aesthetic way to view all of your photos, download the high resolution images, and even order prints!

  • I automatically do minor skin retouching to smooth out blemishes or bruises! However, I do not photoshop on the basis of changing permanent physical appearances (Ex. weight, beauty / birth marks) because I value each client’s natural beauty over adhering to unrealistic beauty standards.

  • No! I compare this to asking a painter to give you a canvas that’s half done. Editing is such a huge part of the process for photographers and it’s extremely important that our images accurately represent our artistic style when clients use them.

  • Yes! All photoshoots require a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to secure your calendar date. If the shoot needs to be postponed for any reason, the $50 will go towards a new date. It cannot be refunded because with postponements there’s not enough time to schedule a new client for that date.

  • I give every session a 15 minute grace period which helps for driving time to the second location or if we’re on a roll and want to get a few more shots in. If the session goes beyond that 15 minutes, additional charges may be added to your invoice!

However, if we’re in a studio that we rented, there will not be a 15 minute grace period out of respect for the facility. This also means that if the client shows up late, that will eat into the time slot of the studio.

  • Of course! Just let me know first so I can make sure it’s allowed at the location.

  • Great question! It takes so long because so much of the process is getting to know you and your company so that I can intentionally make design decisions that make sense for you. The first part of the project is focused solely on strategy and brainstorming, then the design process actually begins.

Also, designing isn’t as easy as picking a few things that look good and calling it a day! I flush out every idea, color combo, and font options so that I’m presenting really strong concepts to my clients.

  • The design process is extremely collaborative! I want as much input from my clients as possible because the more I know about what colors you’re drawn towards or what fonts you don’t like, the better I’ll be at making those design decisions. As part of the process, we create a Pinterest board together where we both pin ideas. I also love when clients provide tons of feedback about the designs because I want you to have a design that feels like YOU and is something you truly love.

I love creating relationships with my clients and working together. If you’re looking for something quick and easy or you don’t want to be as involved in the process, then I’m not your gal!
