Tomi Dawn Photo

Tomi is an amazing photographer local to Fargo, ND who specializes in thoughtfully captured love stories. She captures couples artfully and creates work that speaks for itself. We wanted a logo that spoke for itself as well and symbolized the values she incorporates in her life and work.

The logo is made up of a sprig of rosemary, wheat, and a skeleton hand. Each element has ties to roots and storytelling, which intentionally stems from important details of Tomi’s life including family, her favorite month and song (September & the song “Dancing in September”), and her tattoos.

Through that, we came up with a unique illustration and a color palette that reflects the Fall season and color tones in her images.
